We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.
Basic membership to the Safer Places Network is free. Free members can register their cameras and receive basic community safety alerts.
Premium features are available through paid subscription plans. Pricing, features, and billing terms are displayed at the time of purchase and may be updated from time to time.
Enterprise accounts for businesses, retail chains, and government organisations are subject to separate agreements and pricing schedules.
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable except as required by Australian Consumer Law. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us.

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who violates these Terms, including removing content, suspending accounts, and reporting violations to law enforcement.
The Service, including its design, text, graphics, logos, icons, software, and all other content, is owned by or licensed to Safer Places Network and is protected by Australian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service (such as incident reports, images, or camera information). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, and process that content as necessary to provide and improve the Service.
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide about the Service may be used by us without obligation or compensation to you.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
The Safer Places Network is a tool to assist in community safety. We do not guarantee that the Service will prevent crime, ensure personal safety, or result in the apprehension of offenders. The Service is not a substitute for calling emergency services (000) in an emergency.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those third-party services.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law (including the Australian Consumer Law), in no event shall Safer Places Network, its directors, employees, agents, or affiliates be liable for:
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of AUD $100 or the total fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Before initiating any formal proceedings, you agree to attempt to resolve any dispute with us through good-faith negotiation for a period of at least 30 days.
